Emerging Leaders Committee
Meet Our Leadership Team
Our amazing team is the life force behind our work. From organizing networking events to managing social media campaigns, they help us do it all.

The Emerging Leaders Committee represents and advocates for new or transitioning public health professionals in Colorado. We bridge emerging public health talent with the larger community of CPHA membership through opportunities that develop skills, build networks, advocate for equity, and contribute meaningfully to CPHA's mission of optimal health for all Coloradans.
Our committee is made up of the Committee Chair, Associate Committee Chair, Delegates, Coordinators, and our committee members. Any Emerging Leader who is a member of CPHA can attend our meetings and become part of the vibrant ELC community.
The ELC Delegates play an integral role in CPHA serving in leadership roles on its main committees to ensure the voice of new public health professionals is integrated into all aspects of CPHA. The overall purpose of the Delegate position is to take a combination of approaches in giving early career professionals, non-traditional public health workers, and students a solid exposure to the multi-faceted nature of public health.
