Roots of Change: Building Health Policy from the Ground Up

The annual Health Advocacy and Policy Summit from the Colorado Public Health Association’s Emerging Leaders Committee focuses on providing tangible advocacy skills in health and policy for public health students, early career professionals and experts alike, particularly on the local and state-levels. Several speakers will discuss how building momentum from local action can grow into larger movements. Attendees will learn about how to recognize policy opportunities, connect with policymakers, and share their voice at different levels of government.
