Erika Cathey (she/her) is a Public Health Analyst with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases based in Fort Collins, Colorado, where she supports states, territories, and national partner organizations in the prevention and control of vector-borne diseases. With a career rooted in local public health and a background in Anthropology, Erika has focused on approaching infectious disease challenges through a culturally informed lens that critically examines how norms, practices, and systemic inequities shape health outcomes. She looks forward to serving as a CPHA Board Member and advancing public health efforts across Colorado.
