Lessons Learned from a Career in Public Health Advocacy

Allie Morgan is the Policy Director for the Colorado Association of Local Public Health Officials (CALPHO), which represents Colorado’s 56 local public health agencies. She is responsible for supporting public health policy and advocacy needs through research, analysis, education, and training activities focused on state and local government. Allie facilitates the Association's Policy Committee, strengthens relationships with key partners, and builds capacity within LPHAs for policy engagement. She came to CALPHO in 2023 after almost a decade at the Colorado Health Institute. She grew up in Fort Collins and holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Fels Institute of Government.
