Leadership for Healthy Communities Releases Economic Stimulus Policy Brief - April, 2009

President Barack Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 into law in February, 2009. To highlight recovery act funds that can be used to increase opportunities for physical activity and access to healthy foods, Leadership for Healthy Communities created a policy brief entitled Supporting Healthy Communities Through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The policy brief is now available here.
