The Professional Education Committee has two working groups – one that plans the annual conference in partnership with other public health organizations, and another workgroup that identifies ways to expand professional education opportunities year round.

• Help with the 2007 Annual Conference
  If you are interested in participating in planning the 2007 annual conference please send an email to conference@coloradopublichealth.org. Input, ideas and assistance are always welcome, with no pressure to join the committee! Upcoming planning tasks include: 1) identifying and solicitation of conference sponsors, 2) development of session topics, 3) designing the format of sessions, and 4) identification and solicitation of conference session and key note presenters
  
  
• Inform membership of continuing education opportunities for professional development
  This workgroup is joining forces with other public health professional organizations interested in creating a “information clearinghouse” for professional training, education, and resources. The Professional Education Committee will play a role in assuring that CPHA members and other public health professionals will receive timely and valued information about educational opportunities for professional development
