What is an affiliate?

An affiliate is an organization representing an occupational discipline, a program area or other organization with a strategic role in public health. By becoming an affiliate of CPHA, together we can lend our voices to enhance public health in Colorado.

Who are CPHA’s current affiliates?

• Colorado Chapter of the Society of Public Health Educators (COSOPHE)
• Colorado Minority Health Forum (CMHF)
• Public Health Nurses Association of Colorado (PHNAC)

American Public Health Association (APHA)

CPHA is an affiliate of the American Public Health Association. CPHA contributes dues to APHA each year based upon the size of our membership and the number of APHA memebrs that are also CPHA members. CPHA elects an Affiliate Representative to the APHA Governing Council who also sits on our board. This ensures that CPHA's membership is represented at APHA.
